Baraka (speculative) - Killed by Kung Lao (later revived). Mileena - Killed by Kitana (later resurrected). Goro - Presumed dead after disappearing (later discovered to have survived). Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) - Killed by Scorpion (later resurrected as Noob Saibot). Sareena - Shot with projectile by Shinnok (resurrected in another plane of the Netherrealm due to already being undead). Quan Chi - Killed by Sub-Zero (resurrected due to being in the Netherrealm). The Shirai Ryu Clan - Killed offscreen by Quan Chi as repayment to the Lin Kuei clan for retrieving the Map of Elements. Satoshi Hasashi (a.k.a Jubei) - Killed offscreen by Quan Chi in order to frame Sub-Zero. 
Harumi Hasashi (a.k.a Kana) - Killed offscreen by Quan Chi in order to frame Sub-Zero. Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion - Killed by Sub-Zero (Bi-han) while on mission to retrieve the Map of Elements (Resurrected as a spectre). The Great Kung Lao - Killed in Mortal Kombat by Goro. Lucifer - Usurped and killed by Shinnok after Shinnok was banished to the Netherrealm. Queen Sindel - Committed suicide after being forced to marry Shao Kahn after the invasion of Edenia (resurrected thousands of years later as part of Shao Kahn's plot during the events of MK3). 
King Jerrod - Killed by Shao Kahn during the invasion of Edenia (speculatively partially resurrected as a soul comprising Ermac later). Delia - Killed by Daegon after Daegon became corrupt. Argus - Killed by Daegon after Daegon become corrupt. Onaga - Betrayed and killed by Shao Kahn to usurp his throne. The One Being - Split into fragments by the Elder Gods to for existance.
